This week we are joined by the incredibly awesome sauce duo of Mike and Drew from The More You Nerd podcast, a weekly show where the host take on a challenge to expand their nerd horizons. We asked them to give us a challenge and they threw down the gauntlet to watch the “best worst movie” ever made: Troll 2.

Epic plot, great acting, awesome special effects, effective editing, creative costuming – this movie has none of those things, but it will make you laugh like a hyena. Go grab a bunch of friends and your drink of choice and watch it right now!

Tara and I loved it so much, that we immediately rented the documentary about it called Best Worst Movie, which was also great.

You will hear Cassandra’s argument that these are not real martinis – they’re saphire martinis, they don’t count! Still, I was facing a moral conflict and decisions had to be made. I weighed the pros and cons- really, how could drinking anything blue, ever be harmful?

Audio recordings of the aftermath had to be released into the internet for your mockery and enjoyment.

That’s the short story of episode 135.

The real story is that we had a lot of fun. Nothing makes Cassandra allow me to spit half-chewed crackers in her face like when she’s had a few martinis.
